Mayday! Mayday! I think the awesomest op-shop ever to hit Melbourne has just opened. And yes, I know 'awesomest' isn't a real word but I didn't like any other adjectives on offer.

For any out of the loop, the Salvos on Chapel Street has just moved across the road from it's old location. And trust me, the new store is well worth a visit!

This new place is like a department store. It's all been renovated to match the Salvos theme, and very much fits the Chapel Street scene. The warm tones in the new theme are very welcoming, but it still has a very stylish feeling.

The first sight that greets you when you walk in are comfy red 'pouff' chairs set around tables in a library area. Very much like the old Borders stores. Not sure if you'd be allowed to drink coffee in here though... best ask the staff!
