| Description: | In operation for 40 years, "the green shed" is an institution for locals and keen op shop enthusiasts alike. Located along the railway line, the Ashy Op Shop is on the corner of High Street and Welfare Parade. Great range and good quality. A large shop with that true op shop feel. There's a 1/2 price rotation system. Look out for their monthly Men's Garage Sale (first Friday monthly generally) and the Saturday yard sale...both weather permitting. Staffed by a loyal band of volunteers, all funds raised support the care of the elderly in the local community. Worth a visit indeed! |
