"Never go here for anything. I worked here I trusted the people. They betrayed my trust and broke my heart. I'll never forgive Salvos for how I was treated. Don't shop here, don't volunteer here, just go somewhere else."
"I do think that 'boutique' and 'op shop' should never cross paths. Unlike real vintage boutiques, where the owners really do know what they've found and (over-)price it accordingly, op shops that do the same usually inflate the prices on pretty ordinary stuff for no apparent reason. That's not to say that there aren't some interesting items in here, but most of them don't justify the prices being charged. For instance, I paid $9 for a tie that would be lucky to raise $4, or even $2, elsewhere. It's not to say that the shop isn't worth visiting - it's fine, and there's some nice items - but it goes against the entire bargain ethos."
