"I can't understand how you get anything to sell with the attitude of the gentleman in attendance at you Creek street warehouse. I turned up there this morning with about 100 paperback books and various items and his immediate attitude was defensive when looking into the back of my vehicle indicating as of no use and before I could explain some of my golf clubs and a bag of recycle bottles that happened to also be in the car, and then picking up one book with slightly yellowed page edges and saying it was unsaleable. Most of the books were no more than 6 months old and furthermore I have been to your Mackay book sale and purchased books older than the one he picked out. We didn't get to the other items as I told him to forget the whole thing and left. I appreciate that you no doubt get some useless items donated but most people including myself have no idea what is saleable in your shops, and only try to include items they think are of some use.I would think that you would have to live with this situation but if you want to employ someone with this attitude displayed today you no doubt will get less junk to dump, but probably a lot less useful items to sell. Anyway I will take my discarded clothing and items in the future to one of the other charities in Mackay."
